We live in central Ca. and noticed our 13 month old Carrier AC unit wasn't cooling on a Wednesday where temperatures are over 100 degrees. I called on Thursday morning and left a message as instructed on their service voice message. I did not receive a call back all day long. As I've done before on other AC units, I decided to replace the capacitor Thursday evening. I found the size at Home Depot and had my wife pick it up.
