“This place of business is more than just a business that exists in the world of profits&consumers or clients and services. This is a place that has become a light house for me providing a safe haven that has literally saved my life. I was raised on state health insurance or medical my whole life and in 40 years had some very negative experiences as a child and it had set me up for not much respect or trust in western medicine. Then at 43 yrs old facing death i had no choice but to rely on the hand i was dealt and the hand i was looking at wasnt much but a pair of twos Ace high and that Ace card was De. Ayeko. The first practioner i had ever felt truly seen me and listened to me. So i stayed a patient meaning i relocated to Mendocino county. This is where MCHC became the focal point on my journey to health. No longer was it just Dr. Ayeko but the women who are part of the Ryan White program that have become the team of supporters that truly have changed my life. Every person that i have interacted with at the Willits office both Ukiah offices and the lakeport office have been kind, caring, helpful and thoughtful. Being a patient at MCHC these last 3 years has not only saved my kife but has changed my beliefs about western medicine and what it means to be a client of Medical! I can not thank you enough for the servies i have received! Kudos to the develpoment of the type of care that is given to people who are a part of the MCHC community.“
