Our furnace stopped functioning in the middle of January 2024, and this was the most responsive, and ultimately health-preserving, HVAC company I could find. Living without heat in this region in the middle of winter is no joke. The repairman had to make two stops: the 1st to determine he needed a pressure switch part that he located in Reno and the 2nd to make the repair. Even with two visits, the cost was very reasonable. Thank you again for being so helpful, especially when our situation was quickly becoming pretty dire.

Furnace started to fail during epic winter conditions. Gabe from Heat Tech came out on short notice, and was able to get it running again during his visit. Aside from diagnosing+fixing the actual problem, Gabe made an incidental finding that an important part was missing from my furnace. He also made some recommendations to help my 18 year old furnace with longevity. He reassured me that, with proper care, my furnace still has reliable remaining life, where I was initially anxious that I'd have to replace it on short notice.I also appreciated that I was able to email Heat Tech to request their professional services. You can call or email; website says they prefer the latter. Sandie replied very quickly and offered an appointment, even gave me an approx time window.Everyone I communicated with was kind, professional, and very patient with their explanations. They ordered the missing part already, and will call me when it's ready to be installed. Their rates are very fair for the area. They appear a tightly knit family run business. I also had a great experience with their daughter, Kelly's, professional dryer duct cleaning business, by the name of Duck Queen.Thank you Heat Tech for a great experience. Furnace went out, dead of winter, snowing. These guys responded quickly and when the serviceman didn't have the part on him that he needed, he promptly returned the next day to complete the fix. Despite very unsettled weather and snow, they made it and fixed the problem.Super appreciative and highly recommend them.

Excellent honest service! Wow!! Totally impressed with Steve at Heat Tech of Truckee! We had a problem with our furnace and another repair company said we needed a $750 service and did not fix anything....however when we contacted Heat Tech Of Truckee they1) responded right away to our email 2) came the next day and inspected and fixed our existing furnace 3) inspected our second furnace and also cleaned and inspected itThe service and expertise of this company is EXCELLENT and I highly recommend them. We will be using them again in the future for SURE!

Love this family owned local business! This winter has been super tough to get any service with labor shortages and over subscribed customers with the area's growth. I was calling places for months and could not get anyone out. Eventually the furnace just stopped working. A big storm was approaching, and I called and gave Sandie my desperate plea. Steve came out that same day and did a full service on my furnace, found a bird inside :( , replaced parts (and even went to pick one up!), and got everything up and running - better than ever! I was so thankful to finally have heat again and right in time for the storms! Bring this awesome local and family-owned business your $$$. Thanks so much, Heat Tech!
