    Spa closed with Covid. I have over $300 prepaid at the Torrance location. I have written them several times to get a refund. No response except we will get back to you. This is over several months. Very unhappy with their customer handing. Small claims court next.

    I love this place I can't wait till its open again, I wish they had one in long Beach, there are so many woman over here that would love an all woman gym.

    When the gym reopened I was finally able to speak to someone about the $100 payment they took even though the gym was closed. I explained again that I've been LAID OFF and not ready to go back to the gym as I take care of my elderly parents. I was told 'sorry no refunds' and that they will freeze my account for $15/month. You already have $100+ of mine for a gym I couldn't use and now you want to charge me to freeze my account. They offered to waive the fee after I said to just cancel me.... so why did I just get charged AGAIN for another month AND they are closed due to county orders. I know and understand it's a tough time for everyone and we are all trying to navigate the unknown with this virus. However, I think it's just bad business practice to be so careless with your customers cash. At the moment I've paid for 2 months plus your $35 ANNUAL FEE (which by the way no one told me about when I signed up - so if you're thinking of signing up here's your notice) That's about $150 and I haven't been in since March. I'm just going to cancel and would like to speak to someone regarding a full refund. I've overlooked so many of the other issues other reviewers have mentioned but I'm just disappointed at the lack of customer service at this point. Please let me know who to call or email as the gym is currently closed. Thank you.

    After keeping my membership in place while the Torrance Total Woman was closed because of the pandemic and learning a few days ago via email that the gym is now open but no classes will take place, I decided my membership no longer had any value for me and decided to cancel it. Problem: There is NO way to cancel on the app or online. I thus emailed Total Woman to ask how to cancel. No response. I called the Torrance Total Woman and was told that there would be no response to an email! And that there are two ways to cancel: (1) come into the gym and talk to the manager; (2) write a letter -- snail mail -- that includes specific information. Cancellation takes 45 days -- during which you continue to pay the monthly fee via your credit card (total amount charged depends on day cancellation is recorded and day you joined) -- and costs $10, which will be charged to your credit card. Given that I'm self-isolating for 7 days in accordance with hospital pre-surgery COVID-19 rules, I cannot do option 1. That leaves option 2 -- snail mail -- which is fraught with problems: How will I know the letter was received? When will the 45 days start? Etc., etc. I didn't cancel right when TW closed because of the pandemic because I wanted to support TW employees through the closure. That, it appears, was a mistake. TW's cancellation procedure is overly burdensome and punitive for the member and greedy on the part of the company.

    I been with this gym for a little bit more than a year or around the year and never had a problem. I look forward going I been working out at home since the whole virus thing going on. But now that their open again, I'm happy.

    I actually liked this gym but I cancelled my member ship 2 months ago and I got charged 3 times already and now that everything is closed I have no way of getting a hold of them... I'm out $100 now because I trusted them they would not charge me. I was willing to go back but this is not honest of them.

    I have been a member at this gym for 9 years. I have never had any issues with management or the staff. I've seen a huge improvement though under the new management. This gym is my happy place: clean environment, caring staff, excellent leadership and skilled trainers. I always look forward to going into Total Woman. I'm so thankful and proud to be a regular member. Amanda my trainer is helping me immensely to reach my goals. Jennifer my yoga instructor is amazing. Everyone at the front desk is so welcoming, especially Karen who knows what you need before you even say hello! Veronica is on the cleaning crew and works so hard to keep the spa immaculate. And Reyne the new General Manager is so approachable and positive, she makes you miss the gym already when you are leaving after workouts. This gym is really like Disneyland for women with health and fitness goals. I highly recommend this place.

    Been a member of this gym since it opened and I have to say that it is a far cry lower in standards then when they first opened. The gym had a great spa atmosphere with an upscale feel. They updated the gym area by taking away the lovely color walls with plain white paint. All the Trainer pictures were taken off the wall. The bathrooms are clean, but you can see the dilapidation. It has become just another small gym without all the fan fair. It happened gradually, but there is a big difference in service. The fees keep going up and I start to wonder if paying $68 per month from my $40 I started off with is worth it. Still not a bad place to work out, but what made the place special is gone. Thinking of canceling my membership and joining a more traditional gym that my husband and I can visit together.

    Excellent place for a workout! I love the classes. The instructors are great. The front desk staff are very welcoming. It’s a great community of women just trying to stay healthy
