From the reception to the doctor, the staff is friendly and helpful 😀

I was expecting a prescription on Mt first visit for pain management. At least a non narcotic
However I was only referred for physical therapy . It was pleasant clean and the staff were very professional and curious. The doctor was down to earth and seemed over all concerned of the betterment of my health.

I came on in in pain. I’m in waiting for the surgery for seven years. I explained I’ve already had therapy. My surgery scheduled in a few weeks and explained to me that I needed a therapy and maybe aspirin might help. I have no idea why I went to this doctor I would never go here they don’t care. I have the x-rays. They didn’t feel like looking at it. I had a previous pain management specialist. They didn’t care about that nor did they even ask the name of the doctor who’s gonna do the surgery? They gave the standard take aspirin. Call me in the morning. I’d skip them Thank you.

Well it probably could have been a little better if I could get my Dr Kakavand to call my meds in but it was a 5 star visit

Texting or calling this office in Torrance is very frustrating. Nobody returns your call or text you back. The only consolation I got was being able to see my provider, Alice Costen in a timely manner, w/ out needing to wait for a length of time. And she is very welcoming w/ her smile, making you feel very comfortable discussing your concerns. She is kind and very knowledgeable . My bad experience was w/ the front desk staff , Carla, who misplaced my driver's license, and didn't even bother to call or text me back , inspite of my request to please look for it , and to let me
know. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience at this office - Sandy, Alice Costen NP , and Dr Minkoff, & the front desk staff, Lorena.

The staff at Synovation Medical Group is extremely efficient and helpful as they’ve always returned my texts/calls within a hour and usually within minutes.. scheduling is flawless and always within days of when requested by the doctor for followup. The Dr, Jeila Kakavand is the best .. she listens attentively to my symptoms, pain complaints, tending to my needs for therapy and/or medication. I couldn’t ask for a more caring doctor. I’ve read some of the other reviews about Synovation and frankly cant understand how they can be so negative as I’ve never experienced anything like some of them state.

My appointments are always so stressful. I get threatened every single time if I say something that she doesn't like. She asked me to do p.t. I asked what kind of p.t. would I do for liver tumors? She got mad and said if I dont do it she'll reduce the amount of pills I take. I said I wasn't saying no, I was just asking. Just......every single time. It's exhausting.
UPDATE: I got a new doctor! Her name is Gia (sp?). She was great; a normal doctor. She didn't talk down to me, nor did she threaten me. It was so refreshing.

They are nices people. They always welcome you with there smiles. Dr Mikoff really human person . He care for his paciente . Really my Dad fell so happy having Dr Mikoff and his life
