Pulsar Construction finished a complete remodeling of our house in Rancho Palos Verdes. It included tackling the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, powder room, stairs, flooring, repiping, electrical work, and painting. Despite unexpected issues due to our home age (built in 1967), the team resolved challenges like rotten framing and drain pipe cracks.
Thanks to Elena, Dmitry, and the amazing Pulsar team for a smooth process and outstanding work. We are happy with the results and love every corner of our updated home.

We had reached out to Pulsar for a quote on a major gut renovation. It was a great experience working with Elena on a quote. During our home walkthrough, she was on time, professional, and helpful in immediately calling out suggestions or previous learnings from construction around the city that could bring risk to our desired timeline. They undoubtedly bring high end quality work, and their quote was very detailed/reasonable and focused on the right things. Ultimately we went with another contractor that included a dedicated full-time designer due to our unique situation of not having bandwidth to be available for decision-making for our contractors, but we were very impressed and would have gone with Pulsar otherwise. We originally had plans to remodel our kitchen and living area and Pulsar Construction really worked with us to give us an estimate that would meet our budget. We ultimately decided to not do such an extensive project, however, Pulsar still helped us find another company that could assist us with our smaller project since this was not within their scope of work. Although we didn't use them, I would recommend Pulsar because they were reliable, helpful, and really tried to meet our needs.

We hired Pulsar to build us a high quality kitchen and we couldn't be happier. From our first meeting, Elena and Dimitri have been fantastic. I loved their straightforward manner and honest opinions and they were always available when we had questions. The biggest appeal about Pulsar other than being a top notch quality home remodeler is, the umbrella of service people who work under them. Anytime there was an issue they would call the troops in: electricians, plumbers, cabinet builders, dry wall, backsplash workers etc. When you hire Pulsar, you are not only hiring two people who are diligent, attention oriented and extremely knowledgeable, but an entire team of people who work under them, so you never feel stranded or alone. Pulsar went the extra mile by detecting issues that we were unaware of, and bringing them to our attention like pipe and mold issues. Pulsar planned out everything from A-Z. Even during the last days of the remodel, they cleaned up the construction site and followed up on any remaining issues that arose. One of the things that impressed us about Pulsar, is they hold your hand through the entire process and guide you through it. They came up with innovative ideas and gave us recommendations how to choose high quality materials that matched our style and needs. We really were blown away with the quality of service, their attention to detail and their extraordinary customer service. I highly recommend Pulsar to anyone in the market for a remodel. You will be happy with their services and we were fortunate enough to hire them. Overall, we're really happy with our house after the renovations by Pulsar. We have a small space, and post renovations, it feels so much more functional. Our tiny bathroom feels spacious and is really beautiful. Elena did a great job responding to our concerns throughout the process. Particularly at the beginning of the process, they worked with us to pick out the right materials and identify the changes that would make the biggest positive impact on our space. They went above and beyond problem-solving and creating solutions to make sure we got some of the details that we wanted.

This husband and wife construction power house couple did an exceptional job making us both feel part of the process. Another contractor we had explored kept referring to my husband for everything, and with Pulsar, they got it that we are a team, because they are too. We love their hard work, grit and diligence. Pulsar delivers really high quality work. They are good at conceiving creative workaround solutions when needed. They know the Palos Verdes and Rancho PV construction codes and permitting processes well, which really helps a project along. Plus, they have great connections at tile, kitchen, flooring and other home renovation vendors that made our job in the project much easier. We loved the way Elena joined us on weekends to help us pick out materials and make sure we got the best deal possible. Our project schedule slipped a handful of weeks at the end, but considering our project happened right in the middle of a world pandemic, Pulsar had to find a new plumbing partner at one point with no advanced notice, and they had a major life event happen in the middle of it all, I'm told by friends that it's pretty exceptional that we finished as close to on schedule as we did. We've heard horror stories of contractors who slip schedule by many months or never finish. Pulsar was there until every last detail was right, and they have called twice to check in and make sure everything is looking good still, months after the project ended.
