Ryan of Novak Mechanical was referred to me by a good friend and installed a Slimline (R410A) AC unit for us about 8-9 years ago. Installation was done well and we had no issues until the Saturday of a hot 4th of July weekend when the unit stopped cooling.
I figured it would be an easy fix and reached out to NexGen because they were able to guarantee me an early morning appointment on Monday (and I wasn't sure if Ryan's team would be able to come out so quickly, given he's got a smaller crew and it was in the middle of summer). WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!!

Jose' is just awesome, professional, made great suggestions, knows his stuff! Another company tried to sell me a costly new furnace that I don't yet need! Jose' saved me worries and $$$. So glad that I got a second opinion and went with Novak Mechanical!

I’ve had two superb experiences with Ryan Novak and his company. In 2016, he replaced my AC/ Heat pump in my condo. It was done quickly, professionally and expertly. Then today, Jose from his company came out to look at my AC (at a different condo) because cool air was not coming out. He quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the capacitor. However a couple days ago, another company said it was not repairable and I needed to replace with a new system, which would’ve been extremely costly. I was so impressed with Jose, his work ethic, friendliness, knowledge and efficiency. He and Ryan are awesome! I would give them the highest recommendation possible.
