I had a disappointing experience and feel ripped off by this shop, and I would not recommend it. I contacted the owner on Friday, and she assured me she could fix my table lamp cord and plug socket and quoted me a price if I brought it in the same day. She also quoted me a specific price.

After driving 20 minutes to the shop, I was informed that the price had changed, and the repair could not be completed on the same day as promised. Despite my frustration, I proceeded with the repair. I received the replacement with lower-end components, which was more than I was shown for $170 for a simple fix.

My lamp was repaired quickly, but very overpriced service for the small repair needed! $80 to fix the switch on a floor lamp, I wish I had tried to make the repair myself. I am certain I could have had this repaired elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Good job if you don’t mind paying a premium price. They only accept cash or check.

Great little shop for table or floor lamp repair. It was done in a week and no need for a new dimmer on my table lamp. This is the second time I am using this shop and I recommend it.
