For no obvious reason we discovered a large hole in our roof near the parapet wall. Andrew responded quickly, and in short order had his team on the roof. In a few short days the flat roof was remade better than new. Call Andrew.

I highly recommend Americas Best Roofing! They did a fantastic job for a reasonable price and were completely professional from start to finish. The crew was great and did a thorough cleanup every day. The most impressive part was when they came back after hours to put plastic on our roof when an unexpected storm popped up, saving our house from the rain. Their dedication and work ethic are top-notch.

I am a board member of an LA-based HOA. Max Lee and America's Best Roofing re-roofed our condo complex in 2017 so this review covers not only the initial job, but how he honors his warranties and deals with customers for seven full years afterward. The top line is that the roofing job was done cheaply and poorly, but we did not realize how bad it was until years after the initial job. Do not use this company. Let me explain in more detail. In 2017, we paid the going rate for a new roof of its size, $23,000. That's about $30,000 today. America's Best had great Yelp reviews and Max Lee was very impressive. His bid wasn't the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. One thing that should have tipped us off is that, unlike the other 2 companies giving us bids, he only guaranteed his work for five years. The others guaranteed 15-20 years. But we went with America's Best because of his Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, these reviews did not address how durable the roofs are or the quality of work. Read them - they are about the customer service at the time of the work, not years down the line. The one and two star reviews are written from this perspective. Here is our story: Within a few weeks of completion of the work, we had our first problem, with a significant amount of the gravel falling into an upper closet of one unit and the fireplace of another. Max came out promptly and resolved the issue, saying something hadn't been done correctly but we would have no more trouble. Unfortunately, we had leaks in 2019, 2020, 2021. Each time, he came out and fixed the leaks. In retrospect, what was concerning was not just the leaks, but that they were always in different spots. By 2023, the warranty was up but Max grudgingly came out when we had a significant leak. At that point, he said that would be the last time. As a result, we had a half dozen other roofers come out and they all said the roof looked horrible. Of course, many contractors bad mouth their competition, but these roofers said many of the same things: As one stated it, the previous roofer had used very cheap material and the roof needed a complete re-do. These new roofers all guaranteed their work for 15-20 years. We told Max that we were unhappy with his roof job, saying that having leaks nearly every rainy season is not normal. He simply said we needed to maintain the roof. In essence, we needed to go through this annual process where we pay a roofer thousands of dollars to maintain the roof. It was absolutely absurd. Normally a new roo lasts for decades with perhaps minor leaking as it ages. Overall, America's Best abided by the contract we originally signed, and it was our fault for not ensuring the warranty was longer. But we would never use this company again and advise anyone considering a re-roof to use another company with a 15-20 year warranty. That means they stand behind their work.

I just had the roof of my house replaced by this company. It had been 18 years since the last reroofing, and although I hadn't experienced any leaks, I wanted to be proactive about getting the roof replaced instead of waiting for issues to arise. I worked with Andrew to figure out what type and color of shingles to use. I also chose a solar ventilation system for the attic. The crew that did the actual work was great. They worked hard and efficiently and cleaned up before leaving every day. I was very happy with the work that was done and would highly recommend America's Best Roofing Company to anyone out there who is looking for a roofing company with professional and quality service. This is a big- ticket item for any homeowner, but you can rest assured that this company does things right.

America's Best was the best the entire way through our whole roof replacement. They are high quality but affordable and accessible for all homeowners to make sure you get it right. The initial consult with LJ resulted in us learning so much more than the other visits and even more than extensive research. LJ professionally pointed out things we had issues with before we could even tell him, which made us know he was the right guy for us. We were scheduled quickly, and payment terms fit our needs. LJ came on-site the first day and visited throughout the week. Job was done quickly, but our neighbors witnessing could tell it was done really well (demo done in less than 1 day, but no trash left or damage done). The ABF team was respectful and knowledgeable. LJ gets an additional shout out. He handled all questions and kinks or challenges with ease, making the process a dream for us. The inspector also complimented him, so I'm sure that's saying something even more than I can! Highly recommend.
