We had an great experience working with Ben from A2Z Home Remodel on a full home renovation. From the very beginning, Ben was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through every step of the process.
He helped design our new kitchen - which we absolutely love - and made sure we were always on the same page by meeting with us in person multiple times. His communication was excellent, his pricing was fair, and he completed everything right on schedule.
The scope of our project was huge: Ben fully renovated our kitchen and living room, installed skylights, replaced the roof, added new stucco to the exterior, built and installed two beautiful bathrooms with custom vanities, replaced several windows and a patio door, and installed a new garage door. The work also involved major structural updates, including a new foundation and footings to support the roof as we opened up walls and expanded the space.
Despite the complexity, Ben handled everything with great care and attention to detail. We are beyond happy with the finished result and would absolutely work with Ben and A2Z Home Remodel again. Highly recommend!

Totally disappointed. It started out great. Ben showed up at my condo, on time to our on-site appt on June 21st, and we spent about 3 hours going over the project (decent size remodel of bedrooms, attic and living spaces including ceilings, walls, flooring, closets, fireplace, bar etc.)He was very knowledgeable and helpful with ideas on how we might achieve the look I wanted for different parts of the condo. He seemed very interested in the job, took a lot of measurements, asked a lot of questions- and I thought I had successfully found the contractor for the job (assuming his bid was reasonable).That bid never materialized. Fast forward several weeks later and every attempt to get in touch with him about a bid/quote has gone unanswered. Emails, voicemails, text messages. Nothing. Ghosted. I'm left totally disappointed at the total lack of professionalism and communication. Even if it's to decline to bid the job.

I was not able to proceed with my renovation for various reasons but I still felt the need to give Ben my 5 stars for his sincere honesty and vision for my project. Of all the contractors that I've spoken with he is by far the most transparent, the most meticulous, and easygoing. He spent a great amount of time during the consultation and does not make you feel rushed at all. He really has your interests in mind and our conversations were more like he was a lifelong friend rather than a contractor. I do hope to get my project going again soon, and will reach out to Ben again when that happens.

Ben is an exceptional business owner and contractor. He is personable, reliable, reputable, and trustworthy. He is meticulous about his work, he takes exacting care to solve problems and to find the best results without breaking the bank. And, he has a good eye for pleasing designs.After a few months of interviewing various contractors and getting bids for a home remodel I was fortunate to meet Ben. My initial plan was to renovate the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and convert a wet bar into a powder room. And, I wanted to remove a wall to expand the kitchen area. After Ben walked through the home he suggested a kitchen layout redesign to make the kitchen more functional; and, he quickly identified a problem with the idea of pushing out a wall to expand a small bathroom. Behind the wall in question there were furnace pipes running between the 1st and 2nd floors of the home. These are two examples of Ben's honesty and care when he first came to take a look at the potential job. None of the other contractors offered any recommendations as they walked through the home. Of all the contractors I met and and the quotes I received - I decided to work with Ben. His proposal was very competitive given the scope of the work; and, most important to me was to choose someone that I could reasonably 'trust' to deliver work in a professional manner. My instincts about each person I interviewed weighed in the equation. The end result was a significant home renovation that exceeded (by choice) my initial budget; but the budget overage was well-worth it . Replacing plumbing throughout became necessary and the same for duct work; and, we discovered that several sliding doors and windows had not been properly installed (by previous home owner) and there was water damage as a result of this. While there were unplanned surprises, which come with any home renovation, and in this case a 50+ year old house, the investment was well worth it overall. The end results include peace of mind about the state of the plumbing and electricity; and, the interior is absolutely gorgeous. Many of the changes I had envisioned when I first walked through the house and purchased it are now a pleasurable reality.You cannot find a better contractor than Ben. You will have to be patient when you first contact him but he will call you back. And, believe me that it may be the best "wait for a call back" you've had in your life. You will have a trusted friend for life and whatever work he does for you will be well done!

Dor and his team were incredible from the start. They walked through many consultations with my family and made clear a variety of options that could happen based on city code, layout of the house and functional needs of my family. During COVID, my parents decided to complete a remodel that initially started with removing a wall for extra space in the kitchen. That then turned into rewiring and insulating part of the house, updating electrical panels, moving and redesigning bathrooms and laundry rooms. Dor and his team were the best and incredibly professional. They are hard working and respect your time. They are efficient and will literally do anything that you want, but will also give reasons why your idea may or may not be successful. My family was extremely happy with the final result and the home looks beautiful. I would recommend A2Z to anyone around.

My family and I have been wanting to remodel our kitchen for years. We finally decided to get serious and begin our search for contractors last year. We had in-home consultations from several contractors, from family/friend recommendations to ones we found on Yelp like A2Z. Of all the contractors we met, Ben from A2Z was the most personable, respectful, and most importantly, reliable (our biggest gripe with the others). Ben listened and answered our questions honestly and professionally, but also made an effort to tell us about his journey and family, and to get to know us. Immediately after meeting with us, Ben sent a rendering of our kitchen, as well as cost estimates. Even as we continued to meet with other contractors, Ben remained in the back of our minds. After a couple months of weighing our options, we decided to go with A2Z. We met with Ben in his office shortly after, and we refined our design and chose our materials. He was patient and provided helpful suggestions, keeping our budget and reference photos into consideration. There were so many samples to choose from! While the pricing was more than we expected, we thought it was reasonable given the quality promised. Demolition occurred quickly and smoothly, and any waste was handled for. We encountered some unexpected problems throughout the process - mold, asbestos, leaks, plumbing (our house is relatively old) - and these increased the cost and delayed this project quite a bit. However, Ben was patient and assisted us with navigating our options. Overall, his team was very respectful and professional. We noticed some minor flaws in their work, but Ben and his team were responsive and open to fixing them. Now, we are so happy with our kitchen! We love the simple, yet trendy/modern, look and the two-tone cabinets and quartz countertops make it easy to clean. And everything seems well-made and durable so far. In total, our kitchen took about 8 weeks to be fully completed. However, our kitchen was mostly usable about 6 weeks into the project; the final touches were mostly related to the updated electric panel inspections. It was a pleasure working with Ben and his team at A2Z. We will definitely consider them for any future renovations for our home!
