I've been shopping here for years but always went to Sephora for my foundation since Ulta doesn't carry what I usually wear. The brand of foundation I've been wearing for years changed their formula and it's not doing great on my skin. Plus, the color has been oxidizing and making me look orange at the end of the day which isn't cool. I asked for full coverage foundation recommendations last night at Ulta and the makeup artist suggested MAC Studio Fix. She color matched me perfectly with the first foundation she tried. I love Ulta, especially their Thousand Oaks location, they always have such a great selection and wide variety and all the workers are so sweet and knowledgeable, even employees who weren't specifically helping me, I could hear how personable and great they were with helping other clients and giving information as well. Jasmin was very sweet and amazing at colormatching, she got it perfect immediately! Everyone else who I didn't get the name of was also very nice and helpful!

Came in here while the little was at SkyZone HAHA. I have to say the isles are tighter than the other stores I've been to (Camarillo and The Collection) I was wearing a gym backpack while strolling around and felt like I'm going to accidentally knock things over. Went to the Lancome isle to buy gifts for friends and fam, the associated acknowledged me right away and asked if I needed anything in particular. Made great recommendations and also gave great gwp's that adds to the little gifts and stocking stuffers. I wish the shelves had more items, it was noticeably bare but it's also the holiday rush.
