“I reached out to multiple landscapers in the area and Chris with Union Landscape was not only the fastest to respond and schedule a meeting, he provided straight forward and reasonable quotes. From there, you can expect a very collaborative and friendly team who work faster than you expect and they were able to re-landscape my front and side yard in less than 3 days.And Chris and his team are flexible to your plans. I had a few general ideas of what I wanted, but no specific landscape designs and Chris listened to my ideas and we worked together to get a perfect design with little to no headache.I've worked with plenty of vendors and contractors in the past, so trust me when I say that this team is one you can rely on and expect friendly and efficient workers. 10/10“
“Another great experience with this company. It had been a couple of years since their last visit and we wanted to have some trees cleaned up, especially where they overhung the roof. Randy came out and reviewed the trees and came up with a price that was agreeable to us both. A few days later, the team of Randy and three workers came out and did the work. “We had a great experience with Laramee and his team. The results are better than we had ever expected. The guys that worked on our project were highly professional and fun to have around. Laramee checked up on them frequently, and sat down with us over coffee to talk about our project on multiple occasions. He is creative, knowledgeable, kind, and has a great sense of humor. He has done numerous projects in our community, and came well recommended. Another reviewer mentioned some difficulty with communication. We left two messages early on to get his attention for a bid, and they went unanswered. We're so glad we gave him a third try, and I hope the communication issue with his office assistant has been resolved. Once we made contact, it was never an issue again. We are receiving many compliments on our garden project, and we couldn't be happier. We feel like we met a friend as well as a consummate professional.“

Finally we found Pedro would was quick and able to tell me right away what the problem was . He also found out that we had a back yard irrigation system that we were not aware of ! “We just finished up having Marvel Landscapes design and build a brand new garden area in our backyard. I could not recommend them more! Marvin, Jaime, and the team did a wonderful job. This company was professional, easy to work with, reasonably priced, and most importantly created a peaceful sanctuary in our yard that we love!The process started with them coming to the property to take measurements. Then we sent over a vision board of inspiration pictures and ML got back to us with a CAD style design and cost estimate. The costs were going to be higher than we were imagining (we had not provided a budget) and ML worked with us to see where we could scale back so we could get the most impact for our dollar spend. They built up and flattened out the garden area, cleared the space, and prepped for planting. We got to walk through the nursery and learn about different plants, care instructions, what blooms in which season, etc. ML installed a new sprinkler line for the space, planted, created gravel pathways, etc. and finished the project. Communication was great and available via call, text, and in person. We always knew when they would be arriving and they were professional. Hauled off all trash and debris so we weren't left with any mess. ML consulted with us on how to care for each new plant, how much growth to expect, and next steps if we want to add on. We would use them again in a heartbeat!“
“Love, love, live Mike. I've only worked with Mike Sr. He landscaped my Los Angeles home (front and back) like a star. I had no vision. I didn't need it, Mike came with an amazing eye for beauty and that's exactly how it came out. I'm using him again at my Lakewood home -- can't wait to see how it comes out. Of all of the contractors I've used in my life, Mike is the only one I'm using twice! The attached photos are in the very beginning, the plants have grown in beautifully.“
“I can't say enough about how great our yard now looks. Jamescapes did a great job! James came out after I had received 2 other quotes. The other 2 were just going to do what I asked - put a bunch of gravel and some plants with a drip system on my front yard - left side. The yard slants down some and the grass was too hard to maintain. It was pretty ugly looking. I've included some before and after pictures.I wanted one more quote. James suggested another approach. He said gravel next to our large driveway with a few plants would look to plain. He suggested some rock formations with ground covering and plants - and for about the same price as the others had quoted - in fact he was less than one of them. I'm glad I agreed to go with James and his team. I had seen his pictures on other reviews and they all looked nice. They removed all the grass, removed older outdated plants, hauled it all away. They put down weed cover, re-arranged and updated the sprinklers, added rock formations with various size rocks, then plants, and ground covering and then a quality mulch blend (not home depot stuff). James is really creative with his designs and takes pride in his work. The day they were finishing, we left several hours before they were done, for a couple days. James wanted to come back in the evening to see how things looked lit up (we decided to go with nice brass lighting fixtures). He came back at night, took pictures and texted them to me. We liked his work so much, we decided to have him do a whole lot more of our yard. And he recently came back and added some more nice upgrades for us. “This gentleman did amazing work for my home. He installed St Augustine grass in my backyard that has all my neighbors and family asking how I do it to keep it so well maintained. Gustavo installed some great grass that is still here since 2014 and continues to stay green. Thank you sir wherever you are for the wonderful work. Before the grass he had to remove an old brick bbq pit that I thought nobody would remove but he did so with ease. Highly recommended“

“From start to finish we had an exceptional experience with Patti and Alan. We had a long and painful ordeal having our back yard landscaped by another company so when we decided that we wanted our front yard to look nice and give our home some curb appeal, we met with numerous companies to see who would be the right fit. We met with Patti and she provided a detailed quote along with a 3D mock-up of their vision for our front yard. This was more than we had received from any other company that we met with and it really sold us because we could see what our future yard would look like. “I contacted Liu Landscape after running into some difficulty with my sideyard and backyard renovation. Crystal quickly scheduled a site visit, and I could tell right away she was very knowledgeable about planning and permitting for my city. This was of utmost importance to me since I had to fire my prior contractor for reneging on promised permits. I requested a 3D design (hardscaping, outdoor kitchen, turf, outdoor tile) and was able to find a lot of inspiration from the company's own website. Crystal delivered the initial design and requested revisions within a couple of days. I really loved the modern design, and we requested a quote for construction as well. Ultimately, I did not pursue construction with Liu Landscape, but this was mostly due to personal budgetary constraints. Her quote was actually very competitive (compared to 5+ other bids). Over several months, Crystal remained willing to correspond with and help me with my project. She even provided a 2D layout upon request. Regarding her communication style, Crystal is quite matter-of-fact over text and e-mails and warm during in-person meetings. It was a very difficult decision to not work with Liu Landscape, because I really loved the design and plan. As mentioned above, I cannot comment specifically on construction, but had positive experiences with communication and design/planning services.“
