After exploring different options, we decided to try the beginner doggie classes for our then 5 month old lab. It was a six week class that gave me an opportunity to better understand ways to nip unwanted behaviors and practice some of the tips at the store. I would highly recommend Marla! She was able to offer timely feedback and she was very patient with our high energy dog Taro. By the end of class, Taro (my pup) was able to stay focused throughout the class, follow basic commands, and was even loose leash walking like a pro. Granted, we still need more practice with manners around other dogs and people, the six week growth is undeniable :) Something to consider for other pet parents- they even offer a free in person assessment of your dog to better guide you which class is a better fit. Our overall experience was very positive. Even the other associates were welcoming and made us more confident when bringing in our bundle of energy.

We love the staff at PetSmart La Jolla. When we go out of town we can go knowing out dog is being well cared for at the facilities. We also use the Doggy DayCamp when we have guests from out of town and do not want to leave our dog at home alone.

I love this PetSmart all the employees are friendly and helpful. But I wanted to express my appreciation for the guy at the front register at night his name is Cory! What a nice young man Cory is. He's the reason why I come to this Pet Smart. He's always friendly and helpful and always welcoming with a smile on his face! Thanks again Cory! See you soon
