As a Dominican, I’ve always had a hard time finding a salon that truly knew how to work with my curls whenever I wanted a blowout. Four years ago, I stumbled upon NY Dominican Salon when they were still at their previous location, and I honestly haven’t looked back since.
The women here treat every client, including myself, with so much care and professionalism, and they make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in, whether it’s offering you a cup of coffee or a bottle of water. The best salon experience I’ve ever had, I finally found a place where I can keep going and come out with perfect hair! The women are all so nice and Lily did an amazing job on my hair and I really needed that.
It’s such welcoming space and you feel like home instantly. I got a wash and a blowout the first time and it was beautiful. The second time I got a wash, butterfly cut, and a blowout and I’m still not over my hair!

Have been a customer for 1 year. Great service! Friendly people that gave me good service. Lily, and Majorie worked on me today. My hair has grown so much in the year. I highly recommend this place.
