“I have been going to Mayette for almost 3 years now. She is my miracle worker. I came to her with lots of scar tissue (post-bilateral mastectomy 2019), and she was able to give me more of my mobility back. I went on with life since I am one of those who just goes every 3-6 mos or until I am in extreme pain, haha.

Due to ongoing treatments and hormonal changes, my neck and left shoulder seized up. I was scared because there was no rhyme or reason. I went to a different massage therapist at the time because I was at a different city, and my symptoms worsened. I had edema and was in extreme pain. The whole experience impacted my function. I went back to Mayette and she worked her magic through my lymphatic channels and I immediately felt relief, hope, and have been her loyal client ever since.

It takes a lot of trust and time to find a really good massage therapist. I became comfortable enough to explore different modalities with her and share my medical struggles. She listens and is present/intentional, relational and also, she will tell you like it is, which is what I need as well, hehe 😉
