When I first came to her, I was a super oily, acne-prone girlie with the worst hyperpigmentation. Like any mark left behind from a breakout would last for months. On top of that, my skin has always been extremely sensitive, so finding someone I could trust was a top priority.

I mean, without her, I wouldn’t have been able to model for a new hair brand with clear, glowy skin. They didn’t even retouch the photos! They just put them on the retailers’ and brand’s websites. I also got so many compliments from the photographer and owner, essentially because my photos were so easy to take, no edits required and met the tight deadline for their nationwide launch.

Ruth will always be my one and only esthetician. I truly trust her with my skin, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. So if you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely cares about your skin, she’s the one!“

“I have been going to Mayette for almost 3 years now. She is my miracle worker. I came to her with lots of scar tissue (post-bilateral mastectomy 2019), and she was able to give me more of my mobility back. I went on with life since I am one of those who just goes every 3-6 mos or until I am in extreme pain, haha.

Due to ongoing treatments and hormonal changes, my neck and left shoulder seized up. I was scared because there was no rhyme or reason. I went to a different massage therapist at the time because I was at a different city, and my symptoms worsened. I had edema and was in extreme pain. The whole experience impacted my function. I went back to Mayette and she worked her magic through my lymphatic channels and I immediately felt relief, hope, and have been her loyal client ever since.

It takes a lot of trust and time to find a really good massage therapist. I became comfortable enough to explore different modalities with her and share my medical struggles. She listens and is present/intentional, relational and also, she will tell you like it is, which is what I need as well, hehe 😉
