I just can't express how grateful I am to Dr. Castro! After two and a half years of constant pain levels of 5 and above I now hover around a 2 to 3 allowing me to be slightly more active and engaged in life again. One of the best things about being in less pain is being able to sleep better & not feeling like a zombie! It truly feels like I'm getting another chance at life... Dramatic, I know, but totally true!!
Funny thing is I've always had a fear of needles and I was scared at first but now I look forward to my sessions because despite mild, momentary discomfort the following feeling of a delicate swirling of energy takes over calming... read full review
Calvin Castro has been one of the best acupuncturist I have ever been too! He listened to my concert and has addressed them appropriately. He treats the body as a whole while being able to also address specific issues. The sessions I have had has relieved a lot of pain I suffer from daily and has drastically reduced the amount of days I have had headaches. He understands Veterans and what we have gone through. I highly recommend him! And he is part of the CCN through the VA! Amazing guy!
Absolutely phenomenal acupuncturist. Dr. Calvine is excellent at what he does and his treatment has been life-changing. I was referred to Dr. Castro for treatment of anxiety, which had reached debilitating levels. Since I have been seeing Dr. Castro life is not just livable but enjoyable again. He is kind, professional, and always willing to explain his treatments (which is nice because I'm a bit afraid of needles). I've brought my mother for chronic pain from an old injury, she was also extremely impressed. I also brought in my husband for relief from insomnia which has been helping him enormously. Fantastic doctor!
