We love AATJ Performing Arts Center! Our daughter Ava started when she was 7, and she has grown exponentially since. Now 9 years old, Ava has been in several musical productions, team competitions and she takes several weekly classes across song, dance and acting. We really feel like we are part of a community, we appreciate the inclusiveness and support we have for one another - parents and students alike! Since moving to the area, I can honestly say that finding AATJ and the music teachers, and the opportunities our daughter has had on stage, this has been the most rewarding experience ever. We are grateful to be a part of this Studio. Thank you AATJ!!!
Miss Jill and her staff run a most welcoming and inclusive dance/theater program. The students have learned and are part of the welcoming community that is fostered there. AATJ offers a variety of dance genres including ballet, hip hop, Broadway jazz, jazz, lyrical/contemporary/modern, tap, Irish step, musical theater, acting classes, acro/tumbling, and techniques class. There are also opportunities to participate on competition teams as well as solo/duet/small group pieces. I feel very safe when I know my daughter is here. My daughter used to take dance and acting at other studios and she always enjoyed it but never really loved it. She was always disappointed when she wouldn't get to do teams and shows like her friends. I decided to try a summer camp at AATJ and after just two weeks, the show the studio put on was AMAZING! My daughter absolutely LOVED it and all of the teachers. She auditioned and made the team and took a full schedule of classes.
