This place is great - it's what one expects from an emergency room and hospital. I had two heart procedures and couldn't have been more pleased with the doctors, nurses, staff, rooms and overall care. I hope I don't have to go back but if I do I will go confidently.

This review is for the brand new ER. After 3 hours my son, who has been having extreme diarriah and vomiting for the last 3 days was sent home with no IV fluids administered. He has not been able to even keep water down for 3 days and this was communicated clearly to the doctor. The discharge papers say drink fluids and call your doctor if you can't keep them down. What am I missing here. My son is completely dehydrated can barely walk but he can't get some IV fluids???!

After staying in this hospital in the pediatric unit 3 times I had to write a review. I cannot explain how grateful we are for the pediatric unit here at Tarzana. The care they give is beyond exceptional. Trusting someone with your baby is definitely scary and they make you feel more comfortable than you can imagine. And they give the care that is needed for your child. Nurse Liz, Emily, Jamie, & CNA Oscar are hands down the most kind and incredible nurses we have ever worked with. Beyond thankful for this pediatric unit.
