Such an unfortunate experience. This business stressed me terribly when they last minute cancelled my reservation right when I arrived at their location (Saturday)! Never had I ever had a cancellation on the very day of by a dog day care in my 5yrs of experience going to a snow/ski resort!

They said they couldn’t accommodate my dog despite that I completed emailing them my dog’s vaccinations prior to arrival because my dog is missing Influenza vaccine. They said they have private rooms per dog but they walk them together. This darling shop is the best because of the owner Michelle she is friendly beyond friendly and she is the most knowledgeable of all the dog people I know! And her prices are the same as the Reno big box pet stores! We are blessed to have her in Tahoe !

We absolutely trust Agate Bay Animal Hospital & Dog Gone Crazy to care for our German Shepherd Dog, Sophie. Sophie can tell when we turn onto National Avenue that the fun is about to begin and she starts looking more alert and eager. She goes to daycare while we ski in the winter and while we bike in the summer. The staff is always kind, responsive and obviously cares deeply for the animals in their care.
