Agate Bay Animal Hospital is a reputable and caring veterinary clinic. The staff, including technicians and veterinarians, are known for their kindness, love, and dedication to animals. Clients trust and appreciate their expertise, and appreciate the genuine care and compassion shown to their pets. Dr. Montana has been wonderful, charging less than $1,000 for a Shih Tsu mix' teeth cleaning. Dogs are happy to be there, with no shaking or resistance. Everyone was prompt and knowledgeable, with the veterinarian being very knowledgeable about Sadie, a black lab, and correctly informing them she has food allergies. Everything was great for Romeo's first visit, and they found the help needed from souls who love to take care of their 4 legged family members. The environment and staff were all pleasant, and clients appreciate the education.
I woke up to find my cat's chin completely swollen. When my regular vet couldn't fit us in, I began searching for help, and I am so grateful I called Agate Bay Animal Hospital in Tahoe Vista. From the moment I called, the experience was incredible. Their receptionist/assistant was compassionate, listened to my concerns, and offered me the choice of an appointment for the next day or bringing her in immediately for their emergency services. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ghuman. He is knowledgeable and kind beyond words. When our Beagle experienced a life-threatening medical emergency, Dr. Ghuman made arrangements to see us right away. Besides treating our pup in office, he made follow up calls, sent emails, and handled related consultations as needed during the course of her treatment. He went above and beyond and all at a fair, honest price. Thank you, Dr. Ghuman. We will never forget your compassion and care for Miss Daisy.
