“I have had the pleasure of receiving care at Tahoe Forest Multi-Specialty in Tahoe City, where Dr. Katy Schousen practices, and I can confidently say that the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The staff at this facility are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for patients.In particular, I would like to highlight Dr. Schousen's medical assistant, who has consistently shown warmth, care, and helpfulness. Her standout qualities contribute significantly to the excellent patient experience at this office.The scheduling staff at Tahoe Forest Multi-Specialty are also commendable for their friendliness and attentiveness. However, I must note that there have been challenges in getting messages through to the doctors and the medical assistant, and receiving timely responses. While I believe this is more a reflection of our medical system's complexities rather than the individuals themselves, it is an area that could be improved for enhanced patient communication.Despite this minor inconvenience, I highly recommend Tahoe Forest Multi-Specialty. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars but that wasn't and option. The quality of care provided by Dr. Schousen and her team, coupled with the friendly and supportive staff, makes this office a standout choice for medical care. I feel fortunate to be under the care of such wonderful people.“

“I came in for an infected big toe. Dr. Baier consulted, Dr. Zeras did the procedure to drain the infection and RN Teal assisted in the process. Other staff (who I didn’t get the names) also assisted. Receptionist was very accommodating and helpful. Overall, a 5- star experience.“
