Laila is a really knowledgable, organized, thoughtful trainer— and just overall a fantastic person! She’s been my personal trainer for 2 years now. She’s always reliable, and on time. She’s really well educated in the field, and can give advice about more specific stuff than a lot of other trainers. She also knows to look out for things other trainers might miss or push aside. She’ll make sure you get the form right and prevent injury. When I got a minor injury playing an unrelated sport, she adapted my sessions around that a few times also. This review is long overdue! Laila was my first personal trainer, and I really enjoyed working with her. I wanted to learn how to use gym equipment and get into strength training, but I was definitely a bit “gym-shy.” Laila made the process so approachable by walking me through the exercises and creating structured monthly plans I could follow on my own at the gym.
I paired her plans with the free Hevy app to keep track of exercises, which worked perfectly. Over time, I actually started enjoying strength training and even looked forward to my gym sessions.
