Got my eye exam done with my optometrist and picked out frames. I have vision insurance and for 2 pairs of glasses, I was going to come out of pocket a significant amount of money.
I saw an add for Warby Parker and looked up my closest store- Studio City. Off I went. Aside from parking- total nightmare- once you're inside, it's a haven.
Great, no pressure customer service, readily explained glasses pricing and possible add ons. Took my time trying on and deciding. The staff are absolute rockstars at the time of my visit. I had an excellent exam (the optometrist answered every dumb question I had, laughed when I giggled at how good it was to see again). Front staff was patient with my choices, gave me details on options, showed different discounts - and dealt with grace and the most dry wit I’ve seen when it came to a rude other customer.
I’m not kidding when I say I’d come back with no need for glasses or exam just to people watch and hang, that’s how the experience felt today.
After having an awful experience at LensCrafters Valencia, with the glasses/retail part of the store, I went to Warby Parker to get a new pair of glasses. The selection, pricing and service was so great that I bought two pairs instead of just one. It was a great experience, and I will continue to buy all of my glasses from Warby Parker in the future.
