She doesn’t just race thru the appointment to get to her next client, she cares about your hair, how it looks, and its overall health. I’m naturally a light brown, and have some greys at the front. She is an expert with color - her blonde is never brassy and she covers the greys like a boss. I’ve traveled often for work, and her cuts suit my natural waves and grow out in such a way that every day is a good hair day. If you are looking for a new stylist who can do it all, ask for Selene.“

“Trim a Salon has been my go-to salon for years now. I originally found Trim (and Nadirah) after moving back to SoCal and spending way too much time trying to find someone who actually got what I wanted. Once I did, the search was officially over.

Nadirah is consistently great. I usually get color, highlights, and a cut, and she really understands short hair. The nuances matter, and she gets them right every time. Plus, she’s just fun to be around. Appointments usually turn into conversations about movies, TV shows, restaurants, and recipes, which makes the time fly by.

Trim also recently moved down the street on Ventura, and the new space is fantastic. Plenty of parking (no more valet!), and the shop has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom. It feels fresh, open, and welcoming. Well done, Dani!
