About Lacquer
Lacquer, a business located in Stockton, offers nail services and is described as a hit or miss place. Some customers have had incredible experiences, while others have found it just okay. It is important to note that if gel polish is not chosen, the nails may not be dry by the time customers leave as there are no fans, dryers, quick dry spray, or quick dry polish provided. This may lead to a loss of business for the salon. The business has received positive feedback for their bridal nail services, with customers praising the nail technician's attention to detail and ability to bring inspiration pictures to life. The technician is also commended for taking the time to ensure customers are happy with the result. However, the prices are steep, with a bridal manicure and pedicure costing $145 (not including tip). Lyda, another technician at Lacquer, is highly recommended for her consistent and amazing work with ombres and rhinestones. Despite the high prices, customers are willing to spend more for the high-quality services provided. It is worth noting that Lyda is not able to draw detailed designs.
This place is hit or miss, but it's one of my favorites in Stockton. I have gone there a couple times and had an absolutely awesome experience and others just MEH. For instance, if you don't get gel polish, don't expect to have your nails dry by the time you leave. No fan, no dryer, no quick dry spray and no quick dry polish. So I won't be returning there the next time I don't want to get gel. I don't usually don't get gel , so they can expect to loose some business for sure. And since I always come with a crown, they can triple that number.
I got my bridal nails done at Lacquer and I love them so much. I don't usually get manicures because of my job, but I wanted to get a special set for my upcoming wedding. Nary was my nail tech and she did a phenomenal job. I showed her my inspo picture of how I wanted them done: hombre pink/ white, short square shape. She gave me exactly what I asked for and she leveled it up by adding a cute sparkle to them. Nary came highly recommended by my sister who had been going to her for a long time and I can now see why. She took the time to make sure I was happy and made them better than I could've imagined. I also got a pedicure here but I feel so bad I didn't catch the name of the tech who did it for me. She also did a great job. The prices here are very steep, I paid $145 (not including tip) for both service. But the overall quality of the services I received and the end result made it totally worth it in my opinion.
My go to place to get my nails done! Ask for Lyda she's amazing! She pays really close attention to detail! Her work is always amazingly consistent. She cannot draw so if you're looking for that find somebody else. She's amazing at ombres, rhinestones etc.. yes the price is a bit steep but you get what you pay for and I am willing to spend a pretty penny on my nails.
