I graduated from 160 Driving Academy today originally I was born in Guyana where I worked as a police officer and worked in asset protection. I came here as an immigrant and did regular work before at 60+ years old. I met Sam at 160 Driving Academy I had an idea about truck driving but was not convinced I had to get the money and did not know what direction to go in. I was inspired by the mentor and the interviewer Sam in the office who got me the loan to pursue my goals and ambitions. Before 160 I did hard work in the agriculture and construction industry. I needed a new career path, I was tired of being laid off and looking into CDL training, felt this could be a great career for me. I visited 160, met Sam who helped me connect with Ca Human Development who gave me the opportunity to train here. I probably wouldve given up due to costs had it not been for the resources Sam shared and CHD was very helpful. I want to thank 160 for this life changing opportunity to start a new career. I just graduated from 160 Driving Academy and had a great experience. Before signing up, I checked out three different schools, but 160 stood out. What sold me was meeting Sam Mendoza, the branch manager in Stockton. He explained the whole training process really well and laid out exactly what the program offered. Plus, knowing they had locations all over the country gave me confidence in the company. The training itself was solid. The instructors knew their stuff and made sure I was ready.
