I scheduled Sophia for 4 separate hair and makeup appointments for a week of festivities including my son's wedding and reception. She created multiple great looks for me. She is a perfectionist so when I tried to rush her, it was difficult to meet some of my planned timelines. This was not her fault by my ever-changing schedule. I would allot about 2.5 hours if doing both hair and make-up. I also have long hair which created more work. For my final look at the reception multiple people commented that I looked too young to be the grooms' mom. I really appreciated getting to know and work with her. Thanks babe!

Sophia is a kind, talented, and knowledgeable artist! I reached out to her for a bridal hair and makeup trial and she responded right away. I sent her a Pinterest board of some looks I was going after and the results were lovely. After the session, I reached out to her with makeup related questions for my wedding and she made time to help me during her busy week. She let me park in her driveway when I was having a tough time finding parking in the neighborhood. I had fun talking to her and seeing her kitten during the session! On top of that, she gave me a delicious pastry to take home :)

Sophia is extremely skillful, competent, and has a lovely spirit. She drove all the way to my hotel, and was on time for a 6:30am start and completed the hair styling well within my time window. She is a great communicator even before the day, and you can tell she takes pride in her work. I have a lot of thick curly hair, and she was able to create flawless defined Hollywood waves that held throughout a daylong wedding ceremony. I chose to work with Sophia as she seemed to understand the lighter makeup style I wanted for the wedding and had examples of that work on her Instagram. She also only had a 3-person minimum and charged a reasonable price (given the other Bay Area options). Per my choice, we did not do a trial makeup run.The day of the event, Sophia got the makeup right for me - it was light and yet elegant. Jeannette, who works often with Sophia, did the hair. She was excellent. She helped me create a perfect loose bun that stayed put through hours of dancing. My mom and mother-in-law also liked their makeup and hair, and they had many specifications.However, a few things to note:--Sophia was not always super organized (made a mistake on the contract + confirmed address late on the day before the wedding even though I had sent it to her through multiple other places)--She was at times pushy (wanted to sign the contract before discussing details in depth + very directly asking about tips + was quickly asking for reviews literally the day after my wedding)--My mother and mother-in-law did not love the “getting ready vibes” as they felt that she talked a little too much about herself when it was supposed to be about me (I did not mind this as much)Overall, I would work with Sophia and Jeanette again as they do beautiful hair and makeup.

Sophia did a great job on my hair. I am 41. I've been ill for a little bit and I bedridden and she came to my house and really made me feel like a human again. She put highlights in and she cut. It just looked great and I hadn't able to get out of the house for like a year and a half like to do that. On top of that she just did an amazing job and she also added in my little daughter and she also did you know like for a little highlights in her hair and made her feel like really cool and cut her hair really beautifully as well and offer a very reasonable price we were able to tip tip very well as well so I recommend her and I will be asking her to come back soon likely to get a ping for me next week this week or next week to try to get her back here. I highly highly recommend her she's very comfortable comfortable to be around and just a pleasure. Thank you, Sophia.!
