Listen. Do NOT come here for a haircut. Nails, sure, whatever. That's what they're known for.Nice staff and all, but mind if you would use the reference photo better? $20 for them not to even listen to your request and cut your hair shorter than anyone would ever ask for!?!? Fast, but still terrible. Save your money, and your self esteem.Parents, show this review to your kids and ask them if they want to go here. 9 times out of 10, no one would want to go here just to get scarred.

Liane is now open for business and no waiting! So cool! Same great work! Google is wrong about being closed...she is open 6 days/week, Mon. thru Sat. I know I will love my highlights?

Liane is a sweet woman, but omg she cut SO much off my hair!! You really do get what you pay for. I wanted a root touch up with a trim- 2 inches only and she cut so much off! I'm not even over reacting, she legit cut at least 5 inches. Mind you my hair is thick and wavy, so I need the length and weight of my ends to make my hair looking ok. I look ridiculous. Imagine George Washington on a hot humid day. She also didn't do a very good job of washing out the dye out of my scalp, ears, neck and temples. Ugh. Never again.

Made an appointment. The lady did a great job cutting hair. The price was double what was posted in the window, 17.00 versus 35.00. I guess washing hair first was a separate charge.

The employees here continue to be rude and very unprofessional. I always give the benefit of the doubt, and give businesses a chance. The both times I was here the detail in the work was not up to par. Will not be returning.

Horrible hair service never ever again liane is horrible at dying hair I was Saposed to go back to finish but never did due to her bad customer service and bad skills .I made an appointment n she was rushing me out of their after she told me she can do my hair in 3 hours . They close at 8 n she was kicking me out at 7:30

I went into Liane's for a quick hair trim as a walk in. She was able to service me right after finishing up a client. I asked to cut off about an inch and a half, but it ended being shorter. The sign on the window advertises a hair cut for $17, but she ended up charging me 20. 20 for a SIMPLE trim with no layers that literally took five minutes or even less. I didn't contest this since I was going to tip her anyway, but do make sure you check her prices before getting your hair chopped! FYI, she only accepts cash or check.

I asked for an aline after seeing a beautiful haircut of a friend from Liane. What I mistakenedly realized was my friend has thin hair and Liane's strength does not sit within layering or shaping thick hair.I had to get my hair recut so I didn't look like an inverted triangle. You can call her for appt. but frequently she won't pick up the phone. I called her 3 times and never got a pick up. When I asked her about this, she sheepishly smiled. That being said she is a one woman show and does have quite the following with those who have pixie cuts in the Asian community.

Liane was my stylist since the 80's. She does great work. My hair is fine & breaks easily due to medications. She uses gentle perm solutions. I have been very satisfied with her work. Her prices were reasonable. She became a friend after knowing her so long. I had to leave California in 2018 to go back to my family in Hawaii. I keep looking for a hair stylist similar to her work. After a year, I still haven't found one that's reasonable in price or give me satisfaction. If I'm going SF I make it a point to visit Liane. And I get my hair done too.. Liane's the best.
