Just had an incredible experience at this salon! Star was incredible, listened to exactly what my hair needed and was meticulous with her work! By far the BEST salon in Lake Tahoe. I've been a client for more than 10 years, and have always received perfect color and cuts from Angela and her staff. Most recently I have been getting color from Meghan, and she is a doll. I'm in my early 60s with special hair needs because of gray roots. The RAH team works their magic and I always receive tons of compliments!

I’ve gotten my hair done here a few times now & always left super happy. Yesterday, Holly did balayage & trimmed my hair for the first time. She did such an amazing job! ?I love this hair salon, and would highly recommend it. ?They are very skilled at what they do. ??

Just got my hair cut by Star and will for sure be coming back. My hair normally lays super flat and she was able to give it volume with some simple fringe. Thanks Star!

I now have tried on three different occassions to book an appointment. The website shows multiple availabilites to book, and every time I receive a message that declined the appointment. The first two times were for cut and color the latest one just a cut. Once again, the online booking systems shows several open spots.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. They might be prejudiced, no idea I guess my business is not good enough?

Wedding Edition: I can't say enough good things about Rah Hair Studio. I contacted them for my wedding that was taking place in South Lake Tahoe (I'm from out of town). Easy booking process, although a lot of information to remember for wedding hair/makeup lol. Angela helped me coordinate and kept in contact with me via email throughout the process. She's very sweet and super helpful.. and definitely runs a well oiled machine there. I did some research and social media stalking and knew I wanted to work with Amanda Simpson and Krissy Rumack (although I don't think you can go wrong with anyone there). Between the bridal trial and the day of the wedding, Amanda and Krissy were beyond great to work with. Besides the fact that they are both the sweetest and most easy going, they are EXCEPTIONAL at what they do. I didn't feel stressed at any point during the planning process with RAH (you know, vendors that flake or you can't seem to ever get ahold of them). The girls were professional and on time the day of the wedding, ready to go and even stayed ahead of schedule so I never felt rushed or stressed out. If you want to work with a great team for your wedding, this is it. Love them and love the studio!

Angela styled hair for myself & my sisters for my August 2022 wedding. She did an INCREDIBLE job. Everyone's hair looked amazing and stayed all day/night! I have thinner hair and she made me feel so comfortable about requesting any hairstyle I wanted - regardless if it didn't "always" work for my type of hair. She was willing to do whatever she could to make my hair vision for my day happen. I felt so comfortable talking with her as she did my hair. I'm so happy I found her! She was super communicative leading up to the wedding and showed up on time. She even redid my MIL's hair (and did so ever so politely). The prices were very reasonable and I was so grateful that she was willing to travel to my venue so I could get ready without having to worry about traveling anywhere on the morning of my wedding. Can't recommend Angela and her studio enough!
