4125 Portola Dr, Santa Cruz“After doing various forms of exercise over the last 30+ years, I started Pilates at Monarch and immediately saw a difference in my posture and strength. The focus of understanding how the exercises work the different muscles improved the workout immensely and the small class size means you receive personal corrections and feedback to be safe. I can now lift my granddaughter with proper form and enjoy playing at the playground without restriction or pain. Monarch Pilates has helped me to keep living my life as I always have and to continue to build strength as I age instead of losing it“

Jenny's expertise and knowledge of the body is unparalleled, I highly recommend her.“
“I have a herniated disc and I went first to a place in Santa Cruz for PT and my symptoms went worse I was barely walking at the time, then I decided to try chiropractic and I start feeling better, thank to Dr. Janet at heart of healing, she recommended me to give an another chance to pt and specifically (Dr. Scott) at North Bay physical therapy. I remember I told him my previous experience with PT (in another place ) didn't work well and he told me I promise you if your symptoms don't improve, it won't get worse. After couple of sessions, I felt way much better (after two years of suffering ) and I start to tolerate sitting for couples hours, which was a dream for me before my visit. I can't thank him enough!“
8AM - 12:30PM
1510 Seabright Ave, Santa Cruz“My 80+ year-old Dad's life has been changed by Dr. Chris' regime of physical therapy and home exercises.
Over the past fifty years, Dad has had other Physical Therapists but none that resulted in him following through with the home exercises.
Discussing this as a family, we think it is partly because Dr Chris sent him home with adult-type exercises involving apparatuses used for resistance and body weight exercises at his office sessions. The other piece is that he greatly enjoys how Dr. Chris works out with him.
Dr. Chris gave him a pulley system that hooked to a closed door and two types of bands. These are Dad's to keep.
Also included is a website login that Dad uses to log his reps. The site shows videos of all the exercises he has been assigned to do that week.
Everyone at the office has been warm, kind, and upbeat. My parents love the vibe.“

“Jenni has been working with me for several months, treating various old injuries from my youth that were never properly addressed.
Now, at 78, they have all come back to haunt me. Currently, my 7th grade sprained ankle has reduced me to a hobble, and Jenni has taken time out of her weekend to advise me on what I can and should not do at the gym.
One seemingly miraculous improvement occurred just a week ago. I had had knee replacement surgery in 2023 and for some reason that knee began to be quite painful, mimicking all the symptoms from before surgery.
I was worried that something was very wrong, possibly an infection in that joint.
Jenni told me later that, when I arrived for my appointment, she felt the pain was due to a soft tissue problem, rather than the joint, itself.
And, she was exactly right. After just that single treatment, the pain was gone, and I was able to resume my walking program with no further problems.
If you have read any of her posts describing various painful issues that her patients have sustained, you might notice that she often talks about how her intuition guides her.
Not only does she employ her healing hands, but also what her heart tells her will help. She is able to use her skills holistically to correctly diagnose and bring about pain relief.
I will honestly say that I have never felt so cared for by any health professional. How many of your care providers text you at home to see how you're doing?
I only know of one, and that's Jenni.
Whatever I have needed, she has always been there to help, including patiently listening to my complaints with a sympathetic ear, offering suggestions and support, while not letting me lose focus and give up, when things don't go as I expect them to. She is my coach, my cheerleader, and drill sergeant, all wrapped up in one extremely capable
healer.
I enthusiastically give her 5 stars, and have recommended her to several of my friends.
If you're looking for a rehab massage practitioner, look no further. Jenni is hands down the best in her field.“
