“After a video session in which Penny gathered information about my pup's history and behaviors, Penny met up with me and my dog for a second session at a public park. She was a great coach and teacher. She helped me read my dog's body language, cues and behaviors as we walked through a park where there were kids, ducks, loud trucks, teenagers, and other dogs. Penny gave me insight and taught me tools that I will definitely be using every day moving forward. I could tell my dog was totally comfortable with Penny, and so was I! Our 12-year-old dog arrived in serious condition, and, while there is no cure for his kidney failure, Dr. Kong came up with a treatment plan that is enabling him to enjoy life again for as long as he has left. His eyes are bright again; he has a little pep; she has helped bring him back from death's door. The folks there all treat our little guy with tenderness and treat us with compassion. Dr. Kong also helped us consider the costs of different treatment paths so we could decide what was right for us. Plus, she calls after hours, after long days treating patients, to give us updates when necessary.“
