We had to scatter our lived fur baby’s ashes and Sea spirit memorial was extremely accommodative of an urgent booking. We had the cremation done earlier the same day and were unfortunately caught in traffic as we drive from about 2.5 hrs away, they were extremely understanding and compassionate. They took us to a quiet spot in the ocean and we were able to lay the ashes to rest at peace. They later provided us coordinates of the scattering spot as well. That is such a touching gesture. Extremely professional. Highly recommend using their services if you find yourself in this unfortunate situation, as they handle it with extreme care and compassion.
It was the perfect day and spot to scatter my mom’s ashes in the Monterey Bay, with the Santa Cruz Wharf and Lighthouse in the background. What a great place to go and remember her in the future. All good vibes.
Our guide was friendly and polite and guided me on what to do, making it easy and peaceful (and not at all traumatic!)
Throwing flowers made it more beautiful and allowed us to see where the current took her. Even a sea lion swam with them to make it more special.
