I am sure many may have had a positive experience at the Sausalito Pet Hotel & Spa, but unfortunately I did not. I work in Sausalito, and came across the website and yelp reviews - which all seemed positive. My dog was just in need of a bath, nail trim, etc - no cut. I called to schedule a same-day appointment, and Becky (I believe her name was?) was very nice and told me to drop off my dog in about an hour because she had to call the groomer in from Petaluma. I went down to drop my dog off and had to wait a bit for Ellen (the groomer) to arrive. Took our dog here and will never do so again. STAY AWAY!! "Butchered" does not begin to describe the haircut our dog received. Patches of hair are missing and our dog was cut in multiple places. Our dog is a mini schnauzer and her beard was completely cut off. Completely dissatisfied.

I Really dis like talking negative about a places. BUT Man,..never again will I bring my dog here. I often bring my dog to get his hair trimmed and unfortunately I did bring him here. Definitely a lesson learned. My normal groomer was booked. So I decided to take a chance and go somewhere new. BAD idea. Seriously this lady did such a bad job, basically butcher my dog. His hair was so uneven and blotches of hair missing. It was horrible. She had the nerve to put a bandanna or whatever to cover. You didn't need to do that, it was very apparent. It looked like you did it with a blind fold. Ugh! And my dog was even shaken up, which is weird because he loves getting his... read full review
