I have been practicing Pilates for a long time and working with Sidney has corrected so many mistakes - her attention to detail has made all the difference I my practice - I highly recommend her !!

I live in New York and I love my Pilates sessions with Sid in CA!Long story short, in 2020 I started doing duet sessions with a friend from Sausalito, and although exercising on zoom had not been my thing, I loved and missed Pilates, so I gave it a try. I am so happy I did, Sidney is a fantastic instructor and I advanced more with her on zoom than in the studio over past years. She is great at keeping the pace of a duet session, yet making sure our individual needs are met and adapting the flow as needed to incorporate specific exercises that may be beneficial to our sometimes aging achey bodies. I am a clinical psychologist in San Francisco. I have spent my adult life looking for different treatments for human stress, trauma, and general discomfort. In the Bay area today there is a wonderful synthesis of several modalities coming together emphasizing the role of body, mind, and awareness. Sidney Tarlow of Pilates by the Bay has brought all together with a brilliant understanding of Pilates, psychology, and physiology in her approach to Pilates.
