Called to schedule routine maintenance / flush for a 19 year old tankless water heater. They asked how old it was I said 19 years old. When the tech arrived as soon as I told him how old it was he said “Oh I don’t recommend servicing a tankless heater this old just run it till it dies. The service might break it prematurely.”
That’s fine but you need to communicate this to your scheduling staff. They should know that they don’t recommend flushing 19year old tankless water heaters. Wasted everyone’s time here and my money.

Since moving to Marin county in 1985 we have continually used Ongaro and Sons for our HVAC, etc. needs spanning 3 different homes. They have been consistently superior in every way-always professional, friendly, timely, and trustworthy. Most recently our older HVAC system was entirely replaced. I recently hired Ongaro & Sons for electrical work throughout my house. Their service was nothing short of excellent! The turnaround from my initial call to the completion of work was lightning-fast, and every person with whom I interacted throughout the process was so professional, courteous, and attentive. I was very happy with the work performed. The technician was friendly and polite. The 3 stars pertains to the billing. I had a leak coming from the shower faucet and was told there was a $79 trip charge, and the technician would then assess the situation which was done. The technician told me I needed a new cartridge in the shower valve. He had one in the truck and this was done in under 45 minutes. I received a bill for $671. The part is approximately a $50 part. There is no hourly fee, and customers are charged a set fee based upon the services provided. Make sure you get a detailed estimate before agreeing to any work.

Chad Ward, Electrical Project Coordinator, is awesome. He was very creative and innovative with some electrical challenges in our unit and was very diplomatic regarding a recent customer service challenge. The technician, Brandon, was superlative in terms of diagnosing our out of commission HVAC system. He was the best in explaining in simple terms what was wrong and what needed to be done. I paid deep clean for our salon HVAC $1.015 just to have a clog up problem with in 3 months. And they will charge me $270 just to have technician to come out to diagnose what is problem. Unbelievable
