“My wife and I had a plumbing emergency during the weekend. We had a clog in our drain line that caused a backflow into the bathtub. We called around for a plumber but found that many plumbers were not immediately available on a Saturday, even companies that advertise emergency services. Luckily, we were able to get ahold of Robert of Golden Plumbing on the phone.Robert asked some questions to diagnose the problem. He asked me to take some pictures of the drain access pipe, which is at the side of our house. After I texted the pictures to him, he was able to determine that he could do the job at that access point.Since our situation was an emergency, he changed his work schedule to accomodate us. 30 minutes later, he was at our place to do the job. He brought his big snake machine and did a thorough job clearing the clog. During the process, Robert took the time to explain what he was doing. As he worked the snake, my wife and I helped by running the hot water faucets and showers and flushing the toilets to clear out the drain line. While removing the snake, he made sure that the work area was pre-sprayed and re-sprayed with water to keep everything clean.We were very happy for Robert's quick response and excellent work. The cost was $500, which we thought was fair and reasonable. He said it could have been $100 cheaper if it wasn't for the weekend rate.Our experience with Robert was very positive.
