Shelter Veterinary is the new location for Dr Gary Adams DVM. I was very pleased to find Dr Adams has moved over here. His new place has all the modern equipment to take care of my pets.
Amazing, the doctor was recommended to me because a few other doctors couldn't get to the bottom of my dogs issues. Dr. Adams was able to pin point it and now things are improving. He's definitely the one to see for the tough issues.
I discovered a lump on Chibi's belly a few weeks ago which we learned was large cell lymphoma. It was very aggressive. Chibi is free from suffering now. He gets to be the strong, funny boy he always was again. I already miss him beyond belief. I also know Dr Adams' and Steven's hearts broke a little too. It's not easy for them either and I needed to acknowledge that to him in those moments. I've known Dr Adams for almost 15 years. I trust him with every fiber of my being when it comes to my kitties. Dr Adams and Steven made Chibi's transition quiet and peaceful ~ just as I'd asked for. We were so lucky to be surrounded with so much love and support. A special hug to Emily who sent a beautiful, private message of love and condolences. She offered me grace when I was losing my mind trying to find just one of Chibi's meds when beneath it all, I knew he was losing his battle. Her message stole my heart. There are very special people with humane and loving hearts who work here. And Dr Adams is our forever hero. Just know that there are reasons why those of us who were blessed to know him when he was a brand new vet follow him wherever he goes.
