I definitely recommend VCA Main Street. I had an emergency and had to bring my dog in and they saw him right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also followed up after my appointment to check on my dog.

The premises, despite being situated within a historic building, boasts a contemporary and serene atmosphere. My dog has found her vet!

I had the best veterinary experience I’ve ever had at the VCA in Venice today! My dog Dudley cut open his paw, and they were able to get us in just a couple of hours later. Dr. Elaine Martinez was incredibly patient, gentle, and caring. She was amazing and the front staff was so welcoming and clearly passionate about the pets they see — I will absolutely be coming back here!!

Very sweet staff, well trained vet (Dr. Hertz), and always available for urgent needs. I brought my dog in because he broke his tooth. My dog is very excited and can be difficult to examine. They were very sweet and patient with him. With lots of treats and compassion, they were able to look at his tooth and book him for an extraction the same week. The communication was excellent and personalized. They even made him a very cute card for being a brave boy. Would highly recommend this place.

The vets were so friendly and took a variety of animals- including my parrot, a hare, and chinchillas. They were super clean, staff were so friendly and this clinic went above and beyond for my family. I would definitely trust your animal with them!

We got a puppy last year so needed a local vet. The staff is super friendly, always easy to get a hold of and usually able to make same day appointments which has been helpful for things that come up with raising a puppy. I also love the chat feature of their app for when questions pop up and you’re not sure if you need to see a vet or not. Highly recommend them!

I was with VCA Santa Monica for years, and at every turn they upcharged, and found a way to tack on a bunch of money to the bill. Example: when I tried to get my dog a certain medication they insisted on multiple $300 consultations. It is my sincere opinion that they are not trust worthy. A smaller organization will care more about you and your beautiful pet.
