I moved here two months ago opened new hair studio Kimyounghair from 2nd Street Salon Republic. I have been with this company for eight years, I really like this company and location plus our property manager at the front desk Jana, is very professional and with such nice personality also all business owners seems nice. I'm looking forward for long term business at this location :)

Kaycie Salasblanca of Kay Beauty at instagram.com/kayslayys_hair and the website kaybeautysalon.com did an absolutely horrible job. After going back and forth for weeks about the fragile condition of my hair from being overbleached and then covered incorrectly with brunette when I only wanted a root blend (Ziggy's Salon did that). Because of that and the idiot before them (Niki Farrow, who overprocessed with bleach causing 1/2 my hair to break off), I was and still am in desperate need of professional help to get my hair back to the blonde I had sacrificed so much for. Kaycie assured me that she could help and I trusted that she meant what she said. I showed her several inspo pics and she said she could do it (the main one is attached below). Cut to 4 hours later + more damage on my hair + more breakage and frying it - the color is DARKER than when I sat down topped with ugly muddy yellow-green highlights. She lied and said it was a toner that would wash out. It's been several weeks and the color is still just as dark AND there has been more breakage. I am beside myself because I never wanted to be brunette and Kaycie incorrectly said she could help and then took my money. This is so stressful and not ok. My hair is more damaged and still dark and I lost hundreds of dollars and time in the process. Getting your color done is expensive and I have already sunk over 40 hours plus thousands into trying to get it where I want it to be over the last year. This woman took my money with no remorse or absolution. I tried to contact her to see if she could fix it and she blocked me on IG, which is so beyond shady and messed up. I am trying to get my money back from my credit card and bank, but they are being difficult even though it is crystal clear I did NOT get what I paid for. I will also be filing a claim with the BBB and the FTC against Kaycie and Salon Republic if this is not resolved - ie my money is refunded or someone fixes it. The audacity of people to lie to your face and then steal from you without a care in the world is disgusting and I will not stand for it. I urge you to STAY AWAY from these stylists/salons and proceed with extreme caution. I am not happy. BUYER BEWARE!

This salon is in a good location , Target around the Conner beach 15 mins away , cafe couple streets down an a 3 story Tj Max, lots of parking areas. This place have many business in the building . I came here for my massage appointment I was a little worried I have be paying A lot for parking since I had to come to this place to get my spa services. Parking was easy many places to park . I park in a lot for 6 hours $12 . Not bad at all especially for Santa Monica. Came a little to early , decided to explore the area, a lot of stores around it's just a calm feeling to come an just walk an enjoy the scenery. Wasn't a busy area , sometimes when you go to LA area it's gets crazy especially the crazy traffic you have to run just to cross the street. That is not the case in this location. I highly recommend to check out Remedy. Great spa services in this location. You looking to relaxing an be pamper why not go to this Salon an book your appointment with Noe at Remedy. FYI , while walking in this salon everyone was friendly smiling an saying Hi. Place is clean & restrooms We're very clean.

I've gone from asymmetrical bob, to long locks to my glutes, platinum silver hair, and now my favorite, a pixie cut.
Mary is knowledgeable about hair treatment and hair care. She explains the steps and the technicality of how to use products. All the products she's introduced me has been my go-tos. Some brands like b&b, SUMOwax, and currently most useful, PuffMe Powder.
She got my black hair to blond in 2.5 hours (ASIAN HAIR IS A CHALLENGE)!
I love her work and I hope her business keeps striving.
