Dr Kaplan was great at my first meeting with him. Patient. Informative. Personable. I came home and told my husband how happy I was that I found a great urologist who could solve my problem (which turned out to be kidney stones). He ordered a Ct scan as he didn't see the 5mm stone on his ultrasound?? Days later I ended up in the ER. They found the stone. I went back to see Dr Kaplan who did a procedure and found two more small ones. I gave a full days urine sample. I was told I was done. No advice. And then nothing. I had to call a week later. No advice what to not eat. Just drink more water. I'm still uncomfortable. To say I'm disappointed is putting it mildly. Then I read the reviews on him (he originally came recommended by my GP) which sound similar to my story.

I've been with Dr. Kaplan for over 20 years. Never had a problem with him. I had an appointment today for a routine check up and to refill my prescriptions. I confirmed the appointment 2 days ago. But I got a call from his secretary this morning, the morning if my appointment, saying he no longer takes my insurance of Medi-Medi. I won't see me today and won't refill my prescriptions. This is cold and heartless with no notice. Only a cold human would do something like this. Please take your business elsewhere.

No idea why anyone would have anything negative to say. The staff is SUPERB and very supportive. And Dr Kaplan is very genuine and caring. He cares and has a lot of experience. Strongly suggest this team and the good Dr!
