I was seeing Dr Allen for years and now Dr whiting. He is just wonderful. He sees my daughter as well and it so caring and so knowledgeable.

Dr. Jeremy Whiting is the best doctor I ever had. Very sad he moved from Carlsbad to Santa Monica, seriously thinking about driving there to see him. He listened to me and helped me with my autoimmune disease like no other doctor. I have no more migraines, got my energy back, thanks to him.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Allen, who I think is a brilliant doctor. Dr. Jeremy Whiting recently took over for Dr. Allen. I have had three visits with him and I think he is superb. He is a great listener.... very in-tune and never rushes me. He is very genuine , caring, gentle and kind. Cleary an expert in the fields of integrative medicine... I feel very safe with my health in his hands. He is super thorough and knows his stuff! Love Andrea and the new staff as well.

I was recommended to Dr Allen but upon asking his rates he charges $425 for first visit which is an hour and then $225 for follow-up which is 20-30 minutes. He does not take insurance. I asked if he had a sliding scale for regular working (non wealthy) folks but he does not. It's too bad because I think he could help me. I saw him speak once and he had a lot of passion for helping people but I guess it's just for the wealthy he caters to. oh well

I had a consult today and truly felt like Dr. Allen was listening to me. It's kinda of rare not to be rushed while telling your story. He has a terrific demeanor, and I look forward to embarking on my path with him.

Dr. Allen and his staff are wonderful people, friendly and incredibly caring. Dr. Allen truly changed my life! After meeting him over a year ago my health has improved dramatically. He is the only doctor that has taken the time and run the proper tests to actually identify what was going with my health. He took a caring yet scientific approach that finally gave the answers I needed to feel better. He then implemented a natural course of treatment that worked! It is miraculous how much better I feel. He really is a highly gifted, intuitive and a very compassionate human being and physician. I feel grateful to have found him and will be a lifelong patient for sure.

I would avoid any of this guys recommendation on hormone therapy for women over age of 65. My mother developed breast cancer shortly after he put her on estrogen treatments. Perhaps it's a coincidence, but I would avoid this guy like the plague. The person conducting the mammogram asked if she had undergone hormone therapy since her last one, because it was obvious that there were a lot of changes on her scans. Beware, and David - you should be more careful with your hormone prescriptions.

I've had a horrible experience here. The office communication is awful and they don't communicate internally. Dr. Allen doesn't keep his notes and cannot keep track of your issues. I was charged over $700 for labs which was never disclosed to me. He told me originally that the labs would cast about $200, now I'm hit with this bill. Proper communication can solve all of these issues...his office is spinning out from under him.

I have been to many integrative medicine doctors. Dr. Allen is a gifted and an intuitive physician. Though he is extremely busy, Dr. Alan is attentive, takes a comprehensive history and an evaluation before deciding on a course of treatment and discusses test results with you. He provides you with s copy of your own tests as well as makes sure you understand the results and the proposed treatment. I am a relatively new patient, but am already impressed. Being bicoastal, I am not always available for an appointment, but the competent and helpful office staff will reach you if your test results require a follow up, and arrange for a phone appointment. I have multiple health issues and find that Dr. Allen is able to see and attend to the whole picture - a true physician . The office staff is warm and helpful.
