    I don't typically write reviews, but I felt this experience warranted one. I've actually been to this location before and used to really enjoy it. When my primary aesthetician wasn't available, this was a place I trusted and would come to as a backup. I booked a facial here recently specifically because I had an inflamed pimple on my chin that I was hoping could be treated before an important event. I drove about 40 minutes and paid $150 for the service. The aesthetician was very kind and professional, but the service itself did not meet expectations. There was no steam or warm compress used, the towels were cool, and no meaningful extractions were performed. The only area that seemed to be addressed was some oil around my nose. The primary concern I came in for was not treated or discussed, and I left with the same inflamed lesion I arrived with. I completely understand that not all breakouts are appropriate for extraction, but this was never communicated during the service. I followed up directly and through customer service. While they were responsive, I was told a refund was not possible and was instead offered a discount on a future service or a complimentary 30-minute facial. Unfortunately, that does not address the outcome of the original service. I was also told that an email had been sent to me, which I never received (including checking my spam folder), which added to the frustration. This experience unfortunately changed my perception of a place I used to trust, and I don't see myself returning. Sharing this so others can make an informed decision.

    Boihan is a great facialist; the location is not worthwhile in my view. Difficult to park, place often has construction or noise outside, the facial area does not feel private, and the design is weird - like being in a dark Flintstones setup. Loved the products, but would only go for the intro price.

    It's been under construction for what feels like forever so the ambiance isn't that great. And because of the weird set up just now, not sure how clean things really are. Nothing feels sorry per se but like not having a sink in the room and knowing your facialist isn't washing there's hands as often as you would maybe like...? It just isn't a relaxing feeling. But thank did they do it try to upsell you every 2 seconds or ever! So on that sense it is relaxing and you can just lay back and know they are not working commission or sales quotas - and if they are they do a good job of not letting it show. T

    This review is directed at Dermalogica Management not the Montana Ave location (Vinnie rocks) in hopes that SOMEONE who supervises the online experience pays attention. I have complained to my location but nothing gets fixed.

    I have an account. Derm sends me reminders via email for my monthly appointments & surveys to the SAME email address for years. Before I leave my facial appointment, I schedule the next month’s appointment. In person.

    Online when I try to log in, using the same email & PW, it initially tells me no such account exists (impossible because I use the same PW for these things) so I hit the “forgot PW” option with the hope I’ll just te-set with the same PW.

    Do they send me an email with link to re-set? Nope. Checked spam too, nothing.

    They use a third party company called Phorest (spelling?). It sucks. I should be able to log in easily, reschedule an appointment & buy products. It’s 2025, not 1999. My hair salon uses Vagaro as their third party app & it is perfect. I can schedule, reschedule, buy products. Perfect.

    Get your act together Dermologica!!!!

    I have had a couple of facials at the Montana Ave salon and the experience was perfect in every way. The service is excellent and I love the product. I will be back.

    I’ve had nothing but great experiences here the staff are amazing again and the facials are next level. I like that they don’t try to hard sell you on everything but are still great at sharing what they offer and of course the location is perfect. :-)

    Dilusha was amazing! I did the Proskin60 since they had a new client offer on their website. I was pleasantly surprised by the treatments provided and the quality of each of the products. I left feeling fresh and clean so props to Dilusha for taking care of me, addressing my concerns and answering my questions!

    I can’t say enough good things about Vinney. i had my second facial with him today and he left me GLOWING. He is skilled, knowledgeable and a great listener! Their facials are effective and you can craft a custom facial to fit within your budget. I suggest the microcurrent add on for an instant lift before an event. The facility is Modern and spotless. The front desk team are cheery and helpful. 5 stars all the way.

    came in for my first facial and Dilusha made it the best experience. She was very informative, thoughtful and caring with my skin. I definitely recommend her and will be coming back. Thank you again!!

    I had a voucher for a free 30 minute facial so I went to get my facial done and everything was great until the esthetician asked me if I wanted to get their 'nano infusion add on' to which I responded no to. We said we were gonna focus on hydration and brightening so l was just like yeah do whatever you think I'll need for that. So I thought it was pretty clear I was telling her to do what she thinks I need done without adding the nano infusion add on. Little do I know she does the add on and charges me for it? I told her at check out I said no to the add on and she was like "You said to do whatever I want sorry for the miscommunication." I honestly think she should have offered to waive it because I so very clearly said no thanks once she offered me the add on. If I said no the add on I don't understand why she did it. I said do what you think will be helpful for hydration, insinuating she should do what she thinks I need WITHOUT the add on... Mind you my eyes are covered and we aren't speaking during treatment so I didn't even realize she the add on while I was there because I had no idea what she was doing.
