I've been seeing Dasi for cut and color for about 10 years religiously! I am always happy with the results and always get so many compliments on my hair. Her assistant Hannah is also amazing and easy to get an appointment with. Love love love this salon!!
I've been getting tape in extensions with Dasi for over 2 years and my hair has never looked better. Over the years I've had 5 or 6 different stylists install them, and each had their own talents but Dasi is hands down the best, and I get more "your hair is looking great" compliments than I ever did before I found her. She is the expert of experts, an absolute perfectionist (important in a stylist), and happens to also be a genuinely nice human being who treats people with respect and kindness. That kindness is especially crucial when you're dealing with clientele who are truly struggling with their hair because of breakage and loss, we're vulnerable! Specifics: -Brilliant color matching -Consistent focus on hair and scalp health, she always re-installs in slightly adjusted places on your hair to give hair a breather from holding the weight -Fantastic styling, both on trimming my real hair to keep it healthier and in styling new extensions to BLEND -She listens. It's nuts how rare genuine listening is. When I tell her my budget, my concerns, my feedback on a new brand of hair or whatever it is, she really hears it, respects it, remembers it, and takes action based on it. (Example: she is always looking for sales on hair for me, gives me options, patiently explains differences, etc) -Dasi has really transparent pricing on hair. I know lots of stylists and salons mark up the hair they buy but Dasi doesn't do that, she orders it in front of me and shows me the exact price, and that's what I pay. -She has a kickass assistant, Hannah, who is completely efficient, talented, and a delight to be around. The two of them have a lot of care and respect for each other and it makes the vibe in the small salon really lovely. The biggest thing for me is that she could take my really extreme lack of hair (my only option without extensions is a very short pixie cut, it's that fragile, fine, and uneven), and give me the hair I want that looks natural and that I can maintain. I've been getting my hair done by Dasi for forever and she is amazingly skilled. I get k-tip/keratin extensions. My hair looks so natural because of the quality of the hair used, and the way she places and cuts them. It's super easy parking which is always a plus in LA. The studio is really cute and private as well. Hannah does my removals and is so patient and gentle, which I really appreciate. They really make the appointment seem to go by quickly with their fun attitudes, snacks, beverages and I get to play whatever music I like! I winded up moving out of state but I only need to come back three times a year to get them done and then I just make a fun little girls weekend out of it. My hair has grown so much and is the healthiest it's ever been. I would 100% recommend seeing Dasi and Hannah if you want your hair to look amazing!
