My girlfriend and I sent our 5month old pitty/chi mix, Birdie, to Lauren for a 2 week board and train program in LA. Birdie is a rescue who had a questionable past and was found in a field in rural California/Mexico border. We suspected she had some neck/back trauma as she came to us with some scarring. She is truly the sweetest, most mild tempered dog, but would turn on a dime when someone came up from behind her, or tried to put a harness or collar on her. I had my 11 month old Doberman with Manny for 4-weeks. When I first dropped him off, I was a bit nervous. But it needed to happen because I was having issues with leash pulling, reactivity, and commands.After 4-weeks of Manny working 1-on-1 with my pup, he’s like a brand new dog. He showed me what I was doing wrong and how I can improve.Now I feel confident in myself and my dog is now set up for success.
