Thank you, Maggie and the entire staff at the Walmart Vision Center.After trying 9 different pair of glasses over a years time, at a competitor, I walked away with no glasses & a loss of over $900.The staff at Walmart got me into a pair of glasses in just 2 try's in less than a month.They are kind, efficient & clearly know what they are doing.While shopping in the store, on another occasion, one of the Vision Center staff recognized me and ask how I was doing with the new glasses! Accepted our walk in yesterday and after filling out paper work, they were able to quickly get my mother and myself in to see the optometrist. He was very fast and efficient with my exam, which is exactly what I wanted. With my mother, he calmly and politely addressed all the issues she was having with her current prescription, and I could tell he was taking the time to appropriately address her needs. The optometry staff were very kind and had some lovely conversations with me while I waited for the paper work to be finalized. Let me start off by saying thank you for being so nice to me Bonnie! I have been having a bad couple months. Low on funds. I lost my prescription glasses and took an old pair of raybans to another eye place where I had gotten my prescription (to see if they would put clear lenses in) and they wouldn't do it. They told me my glasses were too old to work with, and if they broke in the process I'd be stuck paying for the lenses anyway. Basically trying to get me to buy a new pair for $300. I walked away from that place feeling hopeless. I decided to go to Walmart to see if they could help me and was greeted by a friendly woman named Bonnie. She helped me with my glasses and I was able to get some lenses and use my old ray bans for under $100. She even said if they broke in the process I could bring in another pair to work with!
