After doing some thorough research on the internet for an experienced and well thought of massage therapist in Santa Cruz, I decided to make an appointment with Yvonne. I told her of my situation ( recently widowed - stuck in SC recovering from two broken ankles) and she was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule. Yvonne was patient, attentive and thorough during intake and was able to zero in on some of my problem areas right away. After two sessions I am signing up for three more! Yvonne is an empathetic practitioner with strong and soothing hands- an ideal combination. I’ll be booking her ahead of my next trip to Santa Cruz!

Even after just one session, I knew I wanted to keep working with Yvonne. She’s highly skilled in myofascial release, craniosacral, Swedish, and deep tissue, and the way she integrates everything feels intentional and deeply attuned to my body.
Within 90 minutes, she worked through my entire body, identified long-held tension patterns, and helped my body both release and deeply relax at the same time. I left feeling grounded, melted, and much more aware of how I hold tension.
