Truly thankful for such a caring team and Dr, not only did they see my little one for her first visit in the morning, and had a same day cancelation to have us come back for work that needed to be done on her teeth. The Dr. was so surprised at how well our newly turned 2yr old handled to whole procedure and so were we!

Not sure what’s up with your front end staff. They seem groggy and grumpy and unprofessional. Dealt with them for years. Ask them a simple question and they throw shade and angry energy. Good luck with that.

Avoid This Office – Unethical Billing Practices!
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this dental office due to their unethical billing practices.
1. I have two dental insurances, and they billed both, receiving more than the original cost of the service. Despite this, they still sent us a bill for the visit. It was only after we called and pointed out the issue that they canceled the bill. However, they still profited beyond the original cost and showed no accountability, seemingly trying to deceive both the insurance companies and patients.
2. They overcharged for a simple cleaning visit. Typically, insurance covers 100% of the accepted fee, but this office billed us for the portion that was not accepted—something that should not happen.
It is clear that this office prioritizes money over patient care and ethical practices. If you want honest and transparent billing, stay away!

I am blown away every time we come here. My three year old is nervous in healthcare settings, but the staff at Santa Cruz Children’s Dental makes him comfortable. From the moment we walk in the door, we immediately feel at ease with a beautiful mosaic, movies, and colorful murals on the walls. Every staff member we interact with knows how to work with small children. Their practice is focused on little patients, and they really go above and beyond. We never feel rushed and I truly feel like they want what is best for my child.

Dr. Lola Stanson is incredibly patient, thorough, and skilled in working with children. She takes her time to explain procedures in a way that kids can understand, making the entire experience stress-free and even enjoyable. Her gentle approach and genuine care for her young patients are evident in every interaction. The office is clean, modern, and designed for Santa Cruz environment. The staff is not only professional but also fun and engaging, which helps to create a positive atmosphere for dental visits. They provide excellent care while ensuring that kids feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their appointments.

Had to switch dentists due to insurance issues and so glad we did as the this place is great! The kids were both seen at the same time and had great care from both the assistants & the dentist. Check in and check out was easy & we look forward to continuing to get our kiddos dental care here.

Amazing dental clinic!!! Dr. Erickson was amazing when he was there. Ever since he left it went downhill. Now we follow Dr. Erickson all the way in Citrus Heights. Worth the drive!!!!

This practice has given outstanding service to our family over the past twelve years. My son is now 18 and doesn't want to leave! What really impressed me was how they treated my nephew for a dental emergency yesterday. My sister was visiting from out of town and my nephew began complaining of tooth pain. It got really bad one night so my sister called their emergency number. Someone got back to her within five minutes and offered to see him the next morning! They treated him for a deep cavity that his dentist missed. Although they didn't take my sister's HMO insurance, they worked with her to make her bill affordable. I am deeply appreciative of their kind, compassionate, and highly skilled dental practice.
