I've been coming to Pocean for about a year now and I can't recommend her enough! She's empathetic to your healthcare concerns and is extremely knowledgeable about the human body, holistic health and acupuncture. I look forward to my appointment, because she has created such a tranquil, supportive healing space and I always leave feeling so much better! She is always happy to answer an question you may have and listen to what may be ailing you. She offers several services beside acupuncture and takes insurance as well. I'm so grateful to have found Jeannine! For the first time, I finally felt like a health professional actually, truly listened to me. She really takes a wholistic approach and is interested in all aspects of your life and body and how they relate to your wellbeing. She always takes the time to check in with me about how I've been feeling before we begin acupuncture and I never feel rushed. I was really nervous to try acupuncture, but she made me feel safe and comfortable. I appreciate that she adapts her care to my needs. I was experiencing high allergies and asthma this spring. Pocean helped me with breathe freely again. I didn't need to sleep propped up at night any longer. Pocean prescribed a few herbs that helped cooling my inflamed lungs. Also I received some cupping in addition to the needles during in clinic sessions. These helped release much tension in my upper back from exhaustion after poorly breathing and helped release congestion. I felt deeply understood and supported by Pocean. I will be returning for preventative and continued care regularly. Planning to get prenatal support next.
