Probably the worst attitude and non helpful, arrogant customer service of anywhere in Santa Cruz County!! I’ve spent tens of thousands there for my remodel and I go back with an issue and I’m treated disrespectfully and told to go elsewhere!! I will NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME THERE!!

Went into Bay Plumbing to see if they had a part and was kept waiting for help even though there were 4 women sitting at desks and 2-3 men chatting in the back. A woman acknowedged me and said someone would be helping shortly....kept me standing and waiting 15 minutes before I just walked out.

Needed to install a commercial stainless double sink. The guys at the parts counter were super helpful collecting all the parts necessary to build the waste plumbing, and everything was in stock. Happy to have found a good plumbing supply on this side of the hill.

We had a great experience at Bay Plumbing. We worked with Jill-- She was really good at helping us figuring out how to go about replacing our old bathroom facets & fixtures (it wasn't straight forward). Jill also help us select a product that will match our current towel racks. Previously, we shopped at Plumb Elegance and they gave us a hard sell and poor advice. We're sticking with Bay Plumbing for now on.

Like another reviewer, I had an issue being in the store with a child, my well-behaved 4 year old. We are remodeling three bathrooms and I wanted to support local. I work full time and it can be less convenient for me to shop locally than online but I value my community small businesses so I made the effort and went to the store. A female salesperson was very friendly and helpful, even offering that I could take pictures. My daughter was well-behaved the whole time but then needed to use the potty so I asked if she could use theirs (not for me, like as an exception). A man said she couldn't use their bathroom and the nearest restroom is at a gas station. Being a parent is hard and it hurt to feel no consideration, combined with other signals in the store like make an appointment and please be patient. We had to leave to find a bathroom and I can't see coming back after this. I'm still giving four stars because not sharing your bathroom isn't entirely unreasonable, I'm just saying the totality of experience didn't work for me :(

Under no circumstances will I be giving Bay Plumbing Supply my business after the interaction I witnessed with their employee today and another customer. They kicked a young family out of the shop with their one year old, repeatedly saying that children are not allowed because they are "vectors of disease." Verbatim, over and over. When the father asked if such a proclamation was coming from management, the employees confirmed. I followed the family out and discovered they have been displaced from the fires and just found a replacement property, and because of such a crazy market they had to buy a fixer upper. After many months of unstable housing because they don't have family on this side of the country, they are living in an RV with their baby while they use the insurance money intended to replace their belongings to make this home live-able, as the previous owner had dementia and was a bit of a hoarder. The father had taken the day off of work so they could try to budget for replacing all the appliances for their entire new home, so Bay Plumbing lost not only my business but a significant project worth from that family. I had seen the signs with an X over a stroller and thought it was because of space since it's quite cramped and crowded (no, their baby wasn't in one), and would even have understood if they prefer not to have children in case things could be broken, only to realize they don't allow infants due to being incredibly misinformed. The only funny part was that in speaking to this young mother, she shared she's actually a multi Masters level clinician with vast experience in evidence based medical research and legitimate science. I hope Bay Plumbing is ashamed of their policies when they push "supporting local" outside their doors but don't take the time to do the same with families who have been through more than most this past year, and perhaps if their employees are so high risk that they blame infants for the pandemic but not all the adults in close contact inside their business, that they consider by-appointment-only as there's barely any standing room in their shop. The whole experience made me think of the what's to come from this type of logic - perhaps the next Gulags - truly disturbing. And this is coming from someone considered 'at-risk' myself. I wound up at another local Kitchen & Bath Remodel business in Scotts Valley with far more space for social distancing and much greater selection with exceptional customer service, and hope other potential customers will follow suit! I'm not normally one to leave reviews but I'll be sharing this one far and wide.

Horrible customer service. Salesperson told us we'd be getting a specific component in our faucet package. Component turned out not to be included. Went back to address the problem. Supervisor said salesperson was on an appointment, and I'd have to come back to talk to that salesperson because only they knew what had transpired. When I came back, the salesperson was hidden and the same supervisor now took lead, telling me I was confused..mistaken....must have misread the spec sheets. (Interesting how the supervisor went from uninformed and unable to opine and became an expert on what had been said, even though she wasn't there.). Dishonest and insulting service.Only thing they did well was give me my money back when I returned the product.
