Leo at Wabi Sabi did a great job with my hair. He went out of his way to accommodate me even though it was closing time and I walked in without an appointment. The salon itself is a calm and intimate setting. 100% of Leo's attention is on you and his standards are very high. Found this place by accident and really love it.

I will be back! Leo is wonderful, takes the time to understand what you are looking for and delivers. I had not cut my hair in a year and was looking for a new place, Leo was recommended and had great reviews. My cut is perfect, products used were awesome (and the scalp massage was relaxing ) thanks Leo!

Leo is a true professional who's skills are unmatched when it comes to developing short and long term goals for your hair and it's health. Visits are never rushed, and he treats each hair cut with precision, whether that it is an inch or to create a whole new look. The products he uses feel luxurious. He cares about his craft which includes the entire client experience. His studio is very clean and atheistically relaxing. Offers sparking water, tea, coffee and other beverages. Wabi Sabi Hair Studio checks all the boxes.

Leopold where have you been all my life? Haha First time client and I am impressed! I don't trust easily when it comes to my hair and I spent a few weeks researching for a new stylist because my prior stylist is unfortunately too far for me. I sent out messages through yelp for help on a stylist and Leopold responded! He was the only one who was willing to work with me and my schedule and was very communicative. His studio is unremarkably clean and the aesthetic is modern and great. The ambience was very relaxing and quiet and I felt very calm there. I have never had anyone massage my head the way he does, he takes great care in finding those pressure points and focuses on them. It was also great that he has calming music and dim lights. He also took his time with me and made sure my hair was how I wanted it to be. I didn't feel rushed and I didn't feel like JUST another client. Very pleased and will be returning in a few months for a trim or to go shorter?

I found Leo's salon serendipitously in the beginning of this year when I was on the search for a new hair person and I am so glad I found him! Getting my hair cut and colored by him is whole experience. Leo is very caring and thoughtful when it comes to hair. He prioritizes hair health and I appreciate him so much for that. Leo also takes care to really listen to you about what you are looking for and asks questions so that he can get things right for you. Also Leo only takes on customer at a time so he full attention is on your hair for your entire appointment. My first experience with Leo I came in looking for a big time cut ( I usually have long hair and it takes me a while to become emotionally ready to cut it short) and to move my coloring up. He was honest about what he planned to do and how long it would take. At the time I wasn't sure what I wanted and left with highlights a little brighter than I wanted. It was completely my fault though cause I was not sure what I was looking for but Leo was understanding and helped me fix it free of charge a week later. Leo is also the first hair professional I have bought products from. He didn't push any sales on me or anything. He just spoke very highly and honestly about the products that he used on my hair and I could see and the feel the difference the products made on my hair. Last month I spontaneously decided I wanted to dye my hair purple. I spoke to Leo about it and we where able to achieve the color I wanted within two separate sessions. He did an amazing job. I showed him a picture that was my inspo for the purple hair and he was able to see that the person had dark roots and blue highlights added in for dimensions. He made sure to ask lots of questions to be sure of what I wanted and was honest about how much time it would take. He was even able to fit me in and ensure I got my hair colored in time for Coachella. Highly highly recommend Leo.

If you want someone who takes the time to listen to your hair care needs and provide an exceptional experience then book your appointment with Leo! I came in on a last minute appointment in the need of color before a family Photoshoot and Leo graciously took me in and took care of my color and cut. I came with a lovely challenge of having extensions, which he had to tone and color match. He took his time, and while processing gave me product recommendations! If you are looking for a high quality hairstylist, Leo is your go to!
